What is Hydroculture ?

Indoor plants are known to grow in soil, but scientists have been working on growing plants in mediums other than soil for many years. As a result, Scientists have developed a revolutionary system called Hydroculture, where plants grow in water with precise nutrient levels instead of soil. Pots are filled with hydro corns—thermally treated clay pellets that resist decay, prevent root diseases and are chemically inert to support the plants. These pellets retain water and allow air to reach the roots.

Hydro plants differ significantly from soil-grown plants, especially in root growth. Soil roots are darker, finer, and more branched, while hydro roots are lighter, thicker, and less branched. The Hydroculture system encourages fuller foliage growth, resulting in lush, attractive plants.

Plants only need watering once or twice a month, reducing effort and cost, making it ideal for homes and offices

2Efficient Water Management

A water level indicator provides accurate readings, preventing over- or under-watering. The water temperature must remain above 15°C to protect the roots.

3Pest and Disease Control

The thermally treated hydro corns prevent issues like fungus, insects, and rot, and they can be reused after simple cleaning

4Easy Fertilizing

Fertilization is simplified with a unique formula applied every six months, ensuring plants get the right nutrients

5Cost and Time Efficiency

Hydroculture plants have lower replacement rates (about 10% per year compared to 30% for soil plants), leading to savings on maintenance contracts and better long-term plant quality.
